can’t have one without the other! No matter what your client’s health or fitness goals are, being mindful of your lifestyle and
habits is an essential practice when trying to achieve your objectives.

That’s why our PERSONALISED TRAINING PLAN goes back to back with nutritional guidance for optimal health weight
management, athletic performance and muscle growth.

3 Areas That We Cover

No training program should begin without first knowing exactly where you are starting and what needs the most work. It is therefore my responsibility to collect all the simple, yet vital information that creates your tailored training plan.
I focus on 3 key aspects:

INITIAL ASSESSMENT

Tests

  • Height, weight and body mass index (BMI).
  • Waist to height ratio.
  • Body fat percentage.
  • Resting electrocardiogram (ECG).
  • Lung function test.
  • VO2 max (predicted) using respiratory gas analysis.
  • Anaerobic threshold.
  • Basal metabolic rate and estimated energy requirement.

PHYSICAL

Tests

  • A Musculoskeletal Assessment – monitoring joint swelling and abnormal posture, as well as assessing the joints for normal movement.
  • Functional Movement Screen (FMS) - is comprised of seven tests that look at fundamental movements in an effort to identify and correct limitations and imbalances in the body.

NUTRITION

Having completed your assessment we know what aspects of your body to focus on.

  • PRIVATE FITNESS provides all the tools you need to reach your goals. Our customised nutrition plan will ensure that you always have enough energy to perform in our sessions and achieve your goal. Using an innovative system we can balance your energy expenditure with intake on a weekly basis to make sure you are always on the right track.
  • If weight loss is your goal, we will meticulously monitor your calorie intake so that there is a deficit, which will lead to fat loss.
  • If your goal is to gain muscle, we will track your macros for optimal gains.
  • Getting more active is great for your health, but if you are looking to use your time efficiently, the best approach is to follow a structured training plan, which targets the areas of your body in which you are hoping to see the biggest changes.

The results from the questionnaire will allow us to tailor your personal training experience. Please note that this is a confidential service.

INTERNAL ASSESSMENT
We will be begin by looking at your health.

PHYSICAL ASSESSMENT
We test your boddies current limits. This provides me with the data to fully understand and establish what exercises best suit you.

NUTRITION ASSESSMENT
We will work around your busy lifestyle. Your nutrition programme will be adapted constantly to take into account your progress.

AFTER ASSESSMENT
We move on to the fun part and start training. This is where my 7 years experience providing advanced yet most importantly fun training sessions comes into it's own.
